Cinco Charities would like to thank our loyal sponsors and contributors for your generous donations and support. 2010 has been a year of networking and sharing the name of Cinco Charities with the community.
Sam’s Club
Sam’s Club has once again presented Cinco Charities with an annual grant of $1000.
Cinco Ranch Fall Festival
Cinco Charities was invited to be the benefiting charity at the annual Cinco Ranch Home Owners Association Fall Festival on October 24, 2010, held at Villagio Town Center. Lori Curtis of Cinco Ranch HOA organized a fun filled day of activities for the children, including inflatable rides, petting zoo, pony and camel rides, face painting, juggler and a reptile show. The DJ kept the tunes playing and funnel cakes were a big hit. Cinco Charities was responsible for handing out the tickets for the free funnel cakes.
Cinco Charities accepted donations of any amount from residents for the funnel cake tickets and for water and beverages. Cinco Charities held a chili tasting contest for which Cinco Ranch HOA awarded an Apple iPad. The sole contestant Kevin West won the contest unanimously. The volunteer judges sampled his ghostly creation and were delighted to have such a fine fatherly example as a winner. He showed his children that sometimes you win – just by showing up. What a great lesson… and he took home the iPad. Cinco Charities wishes to thank all the residents of Cinco Ranch for your generous donations which amounted to $500. This was a fun day for board members, Linda Piazza, Rebecca Underwood, Pat Mahaffey, Priscilla Reynolds, and Ginger Hopper and a chance to introduce Cinco Charities to Cinco Ranch.
Network Mixer hosted by Tough Talk – Tony Gambone

Board members Chris Hiller, Ginger Hopper and Pat Mahaffey and Friend, Debbie Smith enjoyed the opportunity to share with the networking group the vision and mission of Cinco Charities. Several in the group are interested in learning more about becoming sponsors.

Donations were received in the amount of $76 from the Angel tree and snacks that were available. Additionally, Cinco Charities will receive the admission fees charged to the network attendees for this event. Cinco Charities appreciates the opportunity to be invited to share the story and build support to help bring the dream of a home for patients undergoing medical treatment while fighting life threatening illnesses closer to reality.
