July 16, 2011, Katy, Texas. Welcome to Vegas Baby! The Club at Falcon Point was transformed into a real Vegas venue with bigger than life decks of cards and chips, lighted palm trees, authentic player tables and to make the night complete real Vegas dealers and pit boss, Tony Gambone. Tony has been so wonderful to donate his time and talents to the Cinco Charities® poker tournament for two straight years. He brings a professional, challenging game to the players.
Approximately 100 avid Texas Hold’em players showed up with their best game on vying for the outstanding prizes and coveted title of First, Second and Third Place Champions. Numerous supporters and friends attended to cheer on their favorite to win. The event raised $14,000 going directly to the budget of housing patients who come to the Katy area for medical treatment of life threatening illnesses, and to ultimately support the fund to build a hospitality type house in Katy for these patients.
It was a very exciting evening that culminated with an intense show-down between, Bob Pollard, Chris, and Steven Morris, who were the respective First, Second, and Third place winners!

A highlight of the evening was the Door and Raffle Prize drawings. Two of the top prizes iPad2 won by Doug Watson; Magnolia Hotel Rendezvous won by Maureen Hiller. Other prizes included: Cruise for Two, Rounds of Golf, Party for 10 at Hooters, Astro’s Game Package, Dining Gift Cards, Golf Club, Spa Packages, just to name a few.
