Providing Housing to Our Guest

A place to lay your head at night in one of life's greatest necessities. Fortunately, for you and I; we have a roof over our heads – a place to go home at the end of the day. Sadly, many patients that come to Katy – West Houston for medical treatment find it difficult to find a place to stay. Some even forego traveling for treatment because they simply can not afford the lodging.

For these patients, lodging is just one more financial burden when you take into account the doctor's visits, medications, treatments, transportation, food and medical supplies. The physicians have told us that if it were not for Cinco Charities® many patients would not be able to receive medical treatment.

That is Where You Come In!

Cinco Charities® is a non-profit 501c3 organization that is operated solely by volunteers with donations, grants and proceeds of fundraisers. Without loyal supporters Cinco Charities® would not be able to continue the mission of providing temporary housing. We continue to rely on the donations and grants from individuals and businesses in our community to operate our organization.

The goal of Cinco Charities® is to build a hospitality house to provide ten to twelve physician's patients temporary lodging – this is a win-win for the physician and the patient – This is a $1 Million Challenge – to build "The Cinco Charities® House".

Here's How You Can Help

Participate - Take part in activities held for the benefit of Cinco Charities: Keller Williams Golf Classic, Cinco Charities Texas Hold 'Em Tournament, Cinco Charities Sip & Stroll Wine Event, Raffles, Charity Galas, and monthly 'Dinner Nights Out' at local eateries all provide a means of supporting our cause. Volunteer - Can you give of your time or talents? If so, we'd like to visit with you and discuss how you can play a vital role in helping those in need in our community.

Corporation Sponsorships - Can your company provide services or sponsorship in support of our mission? Does your company offer matching donations or title sponsorships for charitable organizations? Cinco Charities seeks and needs the support of local businesses in order to achieve its goals.

Planned Gifts - A simple bequest in your will is a great way to make a gift that you might not otherwise be able to give. Or, establishing a charitable trust will often allow you to utilize assets that are currently producing less personal income than desired, while also avoiding capital gains taxes. In many cases the effects of making such gifts are very positive in regard to your retirement income, your estate value, and/or in reducing your federal income taxes. Donations - Cinco Charities, Inc. is a Texas nonprofit corporation classified by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as exempt under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). Therefore, donations from individuals and corporations, as well as grants from private foundations, qualify for maximum tax benefits allowable by the IRS. Donations can be made online or mailed to the address on this brochure.
