Cinco Charities, Inc. is the non-profit organization created and run by Keller Williams Realty Katy @ Cinco Ranch associates. Keller Williams' founder, Gary Keller, challenged each and every broker, team leader, and agent to 'leave a legacy' in the communities in which they live. The local associates in Katy, Texas took this to heart, and thus was born a new charitable organization, Cinco Charities. We invite you to meet our board:

Ginger's deep devotion to family & community motivated her to jump 'On Board' with Cinco Charities to serve as Vice-Chairman. Ginger is a native Texan & proud of it - she thinks the people have a heart as big as the state. One of her greatest joys in life is spending time with her 7 grandchildren, who affectionately call her Hoot, which she says is short for Nanny. She and her husband Jim have lived in the Katy area for the past nine years where she has enjoyed a successful career as a Real Estate Consultant with Keller Williams Realty . They love the challenges of running a marathon together, riding the MS 150, and backbacking but an unwanted challenge was put before them 4 years ago when Jim was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia.

Ginger praises our Katy Doctors and hospitals because Jim was diagnosed, received his chemotherapy treatments and blood transfusions right here in Katy. They are so thankful he is in total remission and running circles around her again. She is very enthusiastic about the immediate mission of Cinco Charities to begin receiving referrals from our Doctors, hospitals, churches , and service providers for people needing temporary housing while their loved one is undergoing treatment. Being a visionary, her heart holds fast to the long term goal of a 'house' in Katy, similar to the Ronald McDonald House to meet the need right here in our own community. She jokingly adds, 'We Realtors think 'houses' all of the time.'

Ginger served 15 years as a motivational speaker in Texas prisons and in Harris County jails. Chairing fundraisers for several Houston inner city youth ministries to provide funding for sports teams, introducing children to the arts & afterschool tutoring has been a mission close to her heart. For the past 6 years Ginger has been a dedicated counselor at the Katy Pregnancy Help Center working primarily with teens who are experiencing a crisis pregnancy as well as other major life decisions. She believes with a little encouragement, people can take the crisis in their lives and turn them around to be the stepping stones to victory.
