The afternoon of Monday, April 20th beckoned with clear skies, low humidity and temperatures in the low 80’s, providing a picture-perfect noon shotgun start for over 140 golfers who participated in the 4th Annual Keller Williams Golf Classic held at River Ridge Golf Club. The players first enjoyed a lunch provided by Jason’s Deli, and at noon teed off for a round of golf played in a ‘Florida Scramble” format.
They finished their day with an awards ceremony and a dinner graciously donated by Hasta La Pasta.
Tournament organizer Carrie Brown said, “We couldn’t have asked for a nicer day, and the tournament wouldn’t have been such an overwhelming success without the generous participation and sponsorship provided by so many businesses in the Katy community.”
The proceeds raised by the tournament will benefit Cinco Charities, whose vision it is “to provide temporary housing in our community with a warm, safe environment for individuals hospitalized or receiving treatment for a serious medical condition and their families.”, said Board Chair Chris Hiller.
